Amanda Drapcho grew up in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, but has also called Maine, Vermont, Nebraska, and West Africa home. She received her undergraduate degree in theater with an emphasis in playwriting and directing and a master of arts degree in Conflict Transformation from SIT Graduate Institute. Her professional experiences include international development, university housing, community development, and community service learning. Her graduate research focused on community reconciliation after conflict. Professionally she is interested in how the Department of Community Living can proactively identify and mitigate concerns of first-generation students. She has a deep love for the beauty of the Northeast, especially in the fall.
