White Students Discussing Anti-Racism - Level 1

This group is for White identifying undergraduate students to explore antiracism and Whiteness. Facilitated by Joy Von Steiger, we will meet for for 90 minutes on three consecutive Fridays from 2-3:30pm.
This level one engagement will be held on 9/25/20, 10/2/20 and 10/9/20. Level 1 will be offered again in the second half of the semester on 10/16/20, 10/30/20 and 11/6/20.
In support of your attendance at all three meetings, you will receive a copy of the book Me and White Supremacy by Layla Saad.
From Ally to Accomplice: Taking Action in Your Antiracism Journey- Level 2
Once you have completed the level 1 group, you are invited to participate in a deeper exploration of what it means to be a White Ally and how to move to Accomplice. We will meet for 90 mins on 12-1:30pm for three consecutive Fridays to talk about allyship culminating in the creation of your personal action plan to move from Ally to Accomplice. This level two engagement will be offered on 10/30/20, 11/6/20 and 11/13/20. It will be offered again on 11/20/20, 12/4/20 and 12/11/20.
