Massachusetts State Representative Tara Hong Shares Insider View of State House with Students

Massachusetts State Representative Tara Hong visited the ENACT course “Legislation for Change: Research, Policy, and Social Determinants of Health” in December to discuss his journey to public office and share an insider's perspective on the work of the state legislature. Brandeis students in ENACT Assistant Director of Research Charlotte Powley’s course asked Representative Hong about his experience as one of the youngest representatives in Massachusetts.
“It was very inspirational and eye-opening to have such a young representative to come speak to our class,” said one student. “I definitely learned a lot, and it was great to get perspective from someone from a younger generation.”
