A New Public Education
A New Public Education was designed to engage educators, politicians and the public in a disciplined and deliberative process to redefine and renew public education in Massachusetts. Working with a research team drawn from education, arts and sciences, public policy and business, participants worked in three phases over 18 months to 1) research examples of successful schools and school systems, 2) draft a white paper for discussion by a panel of experts and the public at and education symposium, and 3) explore policy options for creating better schools.
