Power Shutdown on Aug. 7 and 8
As a commitment to the Brandeis Community to continue to improve the reliability of Brandeis University’s electrical distribution system, we have planned our annual maintenance for the campus outlined below. Preventive maintenance is imperative to the proper operation of campus systems. During these scheduled times utility power for these buildings will be turned off and inspected to identify and repair any electrical system deficiencies. During this maintenance only emergency generator power will be available to the buildings that have generators.
We ask that if you work or reside in one of the buildings listed below to please make sure essential work is saved, remote connections disconnected, and any computers or equipment in these buildings be properly shutdown before the maintenance period. Any systems that need to be restarted or reconnected will be the responsibility of that department.
This maintenance is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 7 and Sunday, Aug. 8. Only the buildings listed below will be without utility power during the scheduled time. If your building is not listed, it will not be affected.
