https://scholarworks.brandeis.edu/esploro/profile/barbara_collinsPrior to joining Brandeis University, Quazi served as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Manulife Investment Management, where he was responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of real estate separate accounts. His $2.2B real estate portfolio included office and multifamily investments throughout the US. While at Manulife, he also helped successfully launch a publicly traded office REIT in Singapore with investments in the US market. Prior to joining Manulife Investment Management in 2015, he was with a New York based Investment Manager, Clarion Partners, where he worked in Acquisitions and Portfolio Management and helped manage over $1.5B in AUM with investments in retail, industrial, multifamily and office. Prior to his role at Clarion Partners, he was involved in acquisition, financing and asset management of opportunistic real estate investments across a broad array of markets, property types and capital structures at The Davis Companies. Throughout his career he was also involved with fundraising initiatives for real estate investment funds from the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
Quazi received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Massachusetts and a Master of Science in Finance degree from Brandeis International Business school.
