Paul Dooley, Ph.D, served as Assistant Secretary General for the United Nations and as Acting Chief Executive Officer for the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund. He currently is a senior adviser to the CEO. He has been employed by the United Nations for over 28 years in various capacities including Chief Information Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the United Nations, Paul held senior level positions with Citigroup and Guardian Bank. Paul earned his PhD in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University, his Masters, also in Information Systems, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and his B.B.S. from Adelphi University. In his roles as Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Executive Sponsor he has used analytics techniques to deliver value to many organizations. As an academic, his research interests have led to the discovery of important factors associated with successful analytics-based systems implementations.Courses Taught
