James Ji is an environmental economist with a focus in natural resource economics, environmental economics, and agricultural economics. James Ji's research looks at the intersection of climate change adaptation, water and land management, and human decision-making. His work relies extensively on the use of geospatial and remote sensing data.Some of his recent works look at agricultural adaptation to climate change and drought from the perspectives of property rights structures, climate and water endowments, and producers' expectation formation process.
