Hassan Jafri develops algorithmic trading strategies based on quantitative and macroeconomic models. He is currently the Principal Strategist at a Boston area hedge fund that he co-founded in 2016. He is also involved as an instructor with Herndon, VA based Learning Tree International where he trains IT professionals in data science and related fields. Previously, he has worked in various technical and customer facing roles at venture backed startups developing innovative technology products for customers in investment banking, hedge funds and other enterprises. He takes pride at being at the forefront of the development and adoption of cutting edge technologies from cloud computing to big data and has a keen eye for separating real from hype in rapidly evolving technological landscape.
