Mary Caraccioli, an Emmy Award-winning journalist and veteran media executive, is currently the Chief Communications Officer at Central Park Conservancy in New York City. Mary is responsible for the direction and leadership of the Conservancy's digital channels, marketing, content, design, and internal and external communications across all platforms, and has led the organization's rebranding and institutional awareness initiatives. Prior to joining the Conservancy, she served as Chief Communications Officer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and worked as a reporter, broadcast anchor, and news executive at a variety of media outlets, including ABC, CNBC, FOX, Comcast, and Al Jazeera America.Mary's well-rounded communications career is grounded in strategy, inclusive teams and developing strong business relationships, while remaining community focused. Unafraid of steering complex initiatives, her work spans the range of communications, from journalist- behind the scenes and on camera, newsroom executive, and now as an organizational leader managing all aspects of messaging in today ' s non-stop media environment.
In addition to managing messaging, she has a track record for creating and presenting award-winning content for broadcast, cable, digital mediums, for media organizations, the world's leading performing arts complex and now the iconic urban green space, Central Park.
Her work as a communications expert has helped Fortune 100 companies, major event producers and university clients achieve their goals through communications. Mary is an adjunct instructor of communications at Brandeis.
Mary's remained committed to non-profit work throughout her career. Serving on a number of boards and offering pro bono services.
