Professor Xia has over seventeen years’ experience working in the investment management industry. Professor Xia is currently a senior managing director at Guardian and head of the quantitative research and analytics team. Before joining Guardian, Professor Xia was leader of active asset allocation research for over $250 Billion of multi-assets funds at Fidelity Investments. Professor Xia also worked as a principal at the Vanguard group where he led a team of quantitative analysts focusing on developing fixed income trading strategies and managing credit long-short hedged strategies. Professor Xia received his Ph.d. in Engineering from MIT and is a CFA and FRM charter holder
