Profile

Abbigale Kim joined IBS as a senior lecturer. Previously, she worked as a financial economist in the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She conducted economic analysis in the Office of Markets within the division, focusing on transparency and market structure issues in the equity and fixed income markets. Her research interests include liquidity and systematic risk, trading activities in the bond markets, and disclosure. She received her Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Utah in 2014.
