Expertise

Tzvi Abusch's expertise is in the languages and cultures of Ancient Mesopotamia, Ancient Near Eastern religions, and Hebrew Bible. His primary fields of research and publications are Mesopotamian religion, magic, literature, and thought as well as biblical-Babylonian interconnections.

Profile

Tzvi Abusch is a scholar of ancient Near Eastern texts. He is a close reader of texts and is particularly interested in Mesopotamian literary texts that deal with religion, magic, and thought.
