Housing Resources and Tools for Incoming Students

Housing Resources

The Office of Graduate Affairs (GSA) and the Office of Academic Affairs and Student Experience at Brandeis IBS are pleased to provide the following information for your housing search:

  • If you are looking for a room or have found a place and are in need of roommates, a good place to start your search is on the Graduate Housing listserv. By selecting the “subscribe” option, you will be able to communicate via email with your fellow incoming classmates about places to live.
  • A Guide to Off-Campus Housing is a booklet put together by GSA, and contains helpful information in looking for housing in the Waltham/Boston Area.
  • Brandeis Jump Off Campus is an additional forum provided by the university where students and landlords can post housing openings. This website provides the cost, rooms available, and pictures of apartments.
  • The Brandeis Housing Facebook page  (geared more toward undergraduates but still open to the community) and Graduate Housing Facebook page are similar in format to the Graduate Housing listserv and are accessible to anyone in the Brandeis community. In order to access these pages you will need to have your Brandeis email set up.

For any housing questions, contact Steven Weglinski in the Office of Graduate Student Affairs.
