I am currently an Assistant Professor at Brandeis University.

I am on leave from the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF). I was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Yale University in 2013.

My main field of interest is Macroeconomics. My research has emphasized the implications of information frictions for Monetary Economics and Business Cycles using both theoretical and empirical approaches.

My secondary field of interest is Experimental Economics.

I hold a PhD degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2010).

A Bolivian national, I was born in La Paz, Bolivia.
