Assistant Professor of Economics in the Brandeis International Business School

Behavioral Economics, Applied Microeconomic Theory

My primary fields of interest are behavioral economics and applied microeconomic theory, particularly consumer behavior and industrial organization. In the realm of behavioral economics, I have focused on how individuals can improve self-regulation in intertemporal choice through internal commitment. In the realm of consumer behavior, I have studied the implications of imperfect information on the part of consumers for phenomena such as social interaction, persuasion in advertising, and the evaluation of expert advice.
