Team from Vietnam Wins IBS Case Competition
April 7, 2007Three IBS students from Hanoi, Vietnam were the winners of the IBS Spring 2007 Case Competition on the Economic Analysis of Global Outsourcing and Offshoring Activities. Thu Nguyen, Ly Tran, and Diep Trinh prepared a case regarding software outsourcing in Vietnam, which has become an emerging outsourcing destination in the world.
Learning from real business cases in Vietnam's software outsourcing industry, the team presented the reasons behind the country's tremendous success after competing for merely six years in the global outsourcing market.
The case competition was judged by Professor Catherine L. Mann and is an annual event at IBS.
