Hi, I'm Sanoshi Kotni I am currently pursuing my Masters in Finance at Brandeis International Business School. I am originally from India, but I'm currently residing with my family at Chicago, Illinois. I am currently pursuing my courses completely online, and I'm itching to get back to campus life. I come from a non-traditional background. I did my bachelors in chemical engineering, but then I got an opportunity to take some of the finance electives. Uh, that piqued my interest in the field. And from there on, I worked in the financial services space for over a year. Then I went on to pursue my master's in business administration from Xavier's University in India. So that kind of introduced me to the business side of things, and I went on to work in the management consulting space for two years. So as a consultant, I was expected to build financial models, uh, and also perform an in depth analysis of financial concepts. That is when I realized that I wanted to pursue a specialized degree in finance where dividing I could learn more about the advanced concepts and also about the applications of technology in the space of finance. Uh, so why did I choose Brandeis for my masters in finance program was firstly, Brandeis offers amazing flexibility when it comes to customizing your curriculum. So I could choose from a plethora of subjects and concentrations that Brandeis provides. Secondly, Brandeis is located in the Boston area, and we all know that Boston is a hub for boutique financial firms. And so far I would say that it has been an amazing experience with Brandeis So that's about me. And I look forward to answering some of your questions and sharing more of my experiences. Have a great day, thank you!
