Hello, everyone. I'm Yizhang, but everybody calls me Darren. I'm a first year MSF student at Brandeis International Business School. I'm originally from Beijing, China. I've been living in the Boston area for eight years now. I consider Boston as my second home. I really enjoy my life here, especially the food and sport aspect. The weather is pretty similar to Beijing only, the snow is a little bit too extreme. The reason why I choose Brandeis International Business School is that Brandeis has some of the best business program in the country. The staff and the faculty here can really help me excel in my career. Second, I choose Brandeis because Brandeis is relatively small compared to some larger universities. During my undergrad at Curry College, I had a great experience of being able to know everyone on campus. At Brandeis, it's a close-knit community. You really have the opportunity to get to know your peers, your professors, and everyone on campus. Also, I really like the diversity at Brandeis, especially in the International Business School. There are students from all over the world studying together. Personally, I'm really fascinated by culture. I want to travel the entire world one day. So Brandeis is a great place to make friends and embrace diversity.
