5 A.M.

Start my morning devotions! Sacred quiet time of prayer and meditation. This morning’s devotion was quite refreshing to my soul.

6 A.M.

Listen to my favorite podcast, “HBR IdeaCast.” A good dose of intellectual stimulation before getting into the grind of the day puts me in a great mood.

8:30 A.M.

I walk my daughters to the school bus stop (my favorite task for the day). My girls are gifted talkers and I absolutely love it!

9:10 A.M.

Head for my Business Dynamics class with professor Brad Morrison, the systems thinking guru.

11 A.M.

Start my back-to-back shifts at the Admissions and Careers Strategies and Engagement (CSE) departments. Working these jobs enhances my sense of belonging to the International Business School community.

5 P.M.

Group project time with classmates from my Entrepreneurship and Rapid Prototyping course. It’s incredible how vulnerable and open we have become with each other.

7 P.M.

Take the short 10-minute walk back home. I bought my daughters popsicles along the way. Every other day, I surprise my daughters with small gifts when I get home.

8 P.M.

After some quality family time, I put my daughters to bed and prepare for my Financial Management midterm. Tomorrow is exam day!
