ASCEND is a national organization which aims to foster the development of leadership skills in Asian and Pacific Islander students, especially for those interested in pursuing a career in accounting, finance or business-related fields. The group seeks to be the premier national, non-profit organization dedicated to enabling its members, business partners and the community to leverage the leadership and business-potential of Pan-Asians.

Events and Highlights

All members of ASCEND are encouraged to attend events sponsored by the Brandeis ASCEND student chapter. The club holds regular lectures, workshops and networking opportunities with professionals and corporations associated with the ASCEND New England Chapter.

In the 2017-2018 academic year, ASCEND Brandeis Chapter co-hosted a panel discussion with professionals from the New England ASCEND Chapter to share networking tips with ASCEND Bentley Chapter. The club also hosted a speed mock interviewing event, in which professionals from State Street Bank, Santander Bank, PwC, Deloitte and CMC Consulting Group conducted mock interviews with students and alumni. ASCEND at Brandeis IBS also invited two vice presidents from Wellington Management Company to share career development advice and job opportunities with students.
