I Am Brandeis: Nimisha Shinday

My name is Nimisha Shinday. I'm originally from Santa Barbara, California.

The Accelerated MA program is something that I have really, really enjoyed.

I chose this program to gain exposure to students from all around the world as well as faculty that really wanted to invest in me as well as my career.

Here at IBS, I have had the opportunity to participate in a language exchange program where I spend time with students and we spend half the time speaking in English and working on their English skills.

Another thing that I find really special about the experience here at Brandeis is your ability to get out of the classroom and kind of into the real world.

I have had the opportunity to participate in of two consulting field projects and those both gave me the opportunity to not only get hands on experience, but also kind of gain hands on exposure and take full ownership of the work that I was doing.

And that’s something that I really found value in throughout my education here at IBS and something that I know will bring great value to here coming to here.
