Career Strategies Center: Networking and Recruitment

The Career Strategies Center assists students in their pursuit of permanent employment by creating opportunities to engage with companies and organizations on campus and around the world. We aim to equip students with the skills needed to succeed in the ever-changing global job market, as well as provide them with as many opportunities to network with companies, recruiters, and alumni as possible.

Employer Spotlights

We host informal one-on-one employer spotlights to provide students with the opportunity to meet with recruiters and company representatives without having to leave campus. Recent companies who have visited include National Grid, Grameen Bank and Trust, Century Bank, and SunLife Financial.

Industry Treks

Career Trek to Citi

We arrange industry-based trips with leading companies to help students network for summer internships and full-time jobs. These visits to diverse companies across varied industries have brought our students to Hong Kong (BlackRock), Silicon Valley and San Francisco (Oracle, ZenDesk), New York (Goldman Sachs, Infor), Washington D.C. (The World Bank, IMF, Deloitte), Toronto (Invesco), Miami (Citibank), and Boston (gasbuddy).

Company Information Sessions

We're proud to welcome leading companies from the Boston-area and around the world to give formal presentations on our campus. These often feature recruiters or alumni of our school now working at that company, providing excellent resources for students seeking internships or full-time jobs. Recent sessions have been given by Citi, Karbone, Noble Group, BizCorps, G2 Capital Advisors, and

Alumni-Student Networking Reception

Alumni-Student Networking Event in NYCThis annual event provides current students with the opportunity to meet with Brandeis IBS alumni based in New York. Our office partners with the Hiatt Career Center at Brandeis University for on-campus Industry Nights and other career events open to the entire Brandeis community. Industry nights often feature panel discussions, individual and group networking, and the opportunity to meet with a wide variety of employers and alumni within specific fields of interest.
