Rabia is a sixth-year neuroscience PhD candidate at GSAS from Lahore, Pakistan. In her research, she studies plasticity and memory in the brain, but in her spare time she loves to play with her cat, cook, write and travel. She is excited to meet the incoming students and run topical workshops with her peers this upcoming year.

Fatma is in Heller’s SID/COEX program. She comes from Cairo, Egypt. She loves traveling, watching movies and going to the beach. She is excited to meet the new cohort and continue learning with them.
Ashley is a current Social Impact MBA student at Heller. She is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and served in Kosovo from 2015-17. During her service, she taught English to primary and middle school students and volunteered with the Cambridge School as an English teacher. She also worked with the SOS Children's Village Prishtina, served on several volunteer committee groups, and assisted in the creation of the Start the Spark! girls group.
Since her start at Brandeis, she has participated in the Brandeis Board Fellows program and is co-chair of the Black Graduate Student Association. Ashley holds a BA in political science from Howard University. She is excited to be a peer mentor, connecting incoming grad students with each other, being a resource and a trusted supporter.

Jonathan is from Ghana and is a MSBA student at the Business School. He holds a BS in electrical/electronic engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. Before starting his master’s degree, he worked as a business intelligence analyst and data analyst in two different banks in Ghana over a four-year period. He enjoys teaching, mentoring and supporting people to reach their full potential. In his free time, he loves playing board games and lawn tennis and watching soccer and documentaries. He looks forward to meeting, connecting and supporting his peers at Brandeis.

Lisa is a second-year student in Heller’s MBA/SID program. In her down time, she enjoys watching TV with her two ferrets Bao and Tilly. Grad school is about making connections, and she is excited to connect with incoming students.

Christina is a fifth-year neuroscience PhD student at GSAS from Croton-on-Hudson, New York. In her spare time, she likes playing guitar, attempting to bake, going to exercise classes and eating popcorn. She looks forward to meeting and working with incoming students!
Subhadra is a third-year neuroscience PhD candidate at GSAS from Aurangabad, India. Her research is about computational models of learning and memory. In her spare time, she likes to take care of plants and her fish tanks. She also enjoys reading and trying out different art projects. She is excited to be a Peer Connect mentor and is looking forward to connecting with students!
