Grad Student Listserv
Events Opt-In Listserv
To help reduce the volume of emails you receive, we are creating an opt-in listserv for graduate students who wish to stay informed about events, workshops, lectures, and other opportunities on campus or in the local area, while minimizing emails for those who do not.
Graduate students, staff, and faculty are welcome to post to the listserv if they have events open to graduate students outside their department or division.
To sign up for the listserv, please complete this registration form. If you wish to unsubscribe at any time, please contact rebeccaprigge@brandeis.edu.
To send an email to the group, enter gradevents-group@brandeis.edu in the address bar and use the event name as the subject line. In the body of the email, please include:
- Date, time, location
- Registration link (if applicable)
- Target audience (if applicable)
- Copy of the flyer or announcement (if applicable)
Free Food Opt-In Listserv
In an effort to reduce food waste on campus and keep grad students fueled, a free food listserv has been created exclusively for graduate students. This listserv allows event planners to post when there is leftover food from an on-campus event that is available for others to take. All food is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
To sign up to receive emails from the listserv, please complete this registration form. Your name will then be added to a listserv. If you would like your name to be removed at any time, please contact me at rebeccaprigge@brandeis.edu.
To send an email to the listserv, simply enter gradfreefood-group@brandeis.edu into the address bar, with the subject line “Free food in (location).” In the body of the email, please include the following:
- name of the building
- room number
- type of food and estimated servings left
- time by which food needs to be picked up
Please note that by choosing to partake in the free food, you do so at your own risk, and we cannot control for food allergies or dietary restrictions. If you are posting about available food, please refrain from advertising perishable items that have been sitting out for several hours.
Health and Wellness Promotion
The Office of Health and Wellness Promotion supports student health and well-being by coordinating campus-wide initiatives and events. They host wellness events including mental health promotion Fresh Check Day, end-of-semester Stress busters, and Sleep Week.
