2025 Recipient: Aliza Kline
Aliza Kline, founding CEO of OneTable and Mayyim Hayyim, receives the 2025 Bernard Reisman Professional Excellence Award.
Aliza Kline, a dynamic leader and social entrepreneur, collaborated with philanthropists to bring OneTable to life in 2014 and served as its founding chief executive officer through 2024. A trained coach and design thinking facilitator, Aliza drew on her expertise to shape the vision and innovative culture at OneTable — ultimately engaging hundreds of thousands in peer-led gatherings. OneTable has been featured in the New York Times, NPR, ABC and dozens of local news outlets.
She is also the founding executive director of Mayyim Hayyim Community Mikveh & Education Center and has devoted her career to re-imagining ritual open to the full diversity of the Jewish community. She has been awarded fellowships by the AVI CHAI Foundation, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, serves as an advisor to the Lippman Kanfer Foundation for Living Torah, past chair of JPro, and current board member of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality and Blue Compass. Aliza earned her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and her Master of Public Administration from New York University. She lives in Brooklyn, New York where she celebrates Shabbat every week with three generations of family.
