Child & Dependent Care Program

We are extremely fortunate to have the Gersh & Sarah Lemberg Children’s Center on our campus and the child development legacy it represents. Sadly, there is just not enough space for everyone. Brandeis has made additional childcare and dependent care resources a priority, and this program for 2020 is a first phase. This is a contract with Bright Horizons, a national leader in employer child & dependent care, where they will provide the following:

  1. Preferred Enrollment into area Childrens’ Centers, both the ones operated by Bright Horizons and their partnership centers
  2. Tuition discounts (which vary by center)
  3. Free access to Sittercity.com, a normally fee-based on-line resource to connect with home-based care providers
  4. Back-Up Care—preferred access to back-up care slots in area centers, for situations where your primary caregiver becomes unavailable, or a related care emergency occurs
  5. Free access to Bright Horizons’ library of eldercare information and resources

This program is available to faculty, staff, and graduate students of the University.

Effective: January 1, 2020
