Responding to Illegal Adoptions: A Professional Handbook

E.J. Graff  - Adoption May 2016

The International Social Service agency in Geneva, Switzerland, featured the Schuster Institute as a “Promising Practice” in its new guide released May 19, 2016, “Responding to Illegal Adoptions: A Professional Handbook.” In addition to including links to the Institute’s deep investigations on international adoptions and hundreds of related documents published on its website, the guide includes a section by Senior Fellow E.J. Graff on reporting tips for journalists, signs that a country’s adoption practices have become problematic, and recommended reading.
