1969 Student Occupation
This gallery includes photographs of the student occupation of Ford Hall in January 1969. Most of the photographs are of students marching outside Ford Hall in support of the occupying students.
President Morris Abram Press Conference President Abram, who started his presidency at Brandeis in the fall of 1968, giving a press conference during the student occupation. Peter Diamandopoulos, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, is to Abram's right. January 8-18, 1969

Students gather outside the Berstein-Marcus Administration Center in support of the occupying Ford Hall students The Berstein-Marcus Administration Center and the Gryzmish Building included the offices of the President and the Board of Trustees and served as the administrative center for the University. A number of students gathered in the lobbies and courtyard of Gryzmish and Berstein-Marcus. The administration center was across the street from Ford Hall. January 8-18, 1969.
