Mary Helen Terrell, Ph.D.’90, of Lincoln, Mass., a senior administrator at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and 
a visiting scholar at the Women’s Studies Research Center at Brandeis, died on Nov. 18, 2010. She also served as an assistant professor of nursing at Simmons College. She was developing a Ph.D. thesis about Martha May Eliot, head of the Children’s Bureau under Franklin Roosevelt, into a book for possible publication. She leaves her husband, John ’64; three daughters, Lisa, Tracey and Alison; a son, Shawn; and six grandchildren.
