After 42 years with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Richard Temkin, P’13, has retired. For the last eight years, he directed the administration’s Michigan office, and he received a Certificate of Tribute from Gov. Jennifer Granholm upon his retirement. The youngest of his three children, Marielle ’13, attends Brandeis. Richard writes, “She is a copy editor at the Justice and is enjoying her collegiate experience much more than her father did!” Susan Thorndike writes that she is “alive and well and still living in New Canaan, Conn.” She works at an independent bookstore. Her son, Nicholas, works at Showtime/CBS.
