Terry Adams, Heller PhD’06, of Winthrop, Maine, a professor and licensed social worker, died on Feb. 12 following a long journey with cancer. He was an adjunct professor at the Boston College School of Social Work and an associate professor at the University of Maine at Augusta, where he taught mental health and human services with a focus on addictions. He also served as an outpatient therapist at Kennebec Behavioral Health in Augusta. He leaves his wife, Susan; his daughter, Jodi; and his sister, Donna.
