Helen Arvey Bresky, Friend, Brandeis National Committee, of Newton, Massachusetts, on Oct. 18. “Suzy,” as she was known, was a prolific writer and reader; a passionate Red Sox and Patriots fan; and a lover of people, dogs, words and games, particularly the New York Times crossword puzzle. Survived by two children and five grandchildren.
