Edward Z. Frim ’80, of Pittsburgh, on April 29, 2020. Recalled for his devotion to Jewish values as expressed in family, community and education, he served as executive director of Pittsburgh’s Agency for Jewish Learning and most recently as head of school at MetroWest Jewish Day School, in Framingham, Massachusetts. Survived by wife Lori Abrams and a daughter.

Jimmie L. Wooten ’83, of Kingston, Massachusetts, on July 17. A Spanish teacher at Plymouth North High School and in the Brockton public schools, formerly a telephone company lineman and executive, he loved sharing knowledge with students, playing and coaching soccer, traveling to Spain, and practicing his Christian faith. Survived by a daughter.

Jason W. Tannenbaum ’84, of Chicago, on Oct. 25. A real estate appraiser and attorney who practiced law at Nutter, McClennen & Fish, and served as assistant U.S. attorney in the District of New Jersey, he loved to travel the world with his family, and was an avid fan of Bruce Springsteen and the Chicago Cubs. Survived by companion YiYi Xu and two children.

Carol Ann Lockhart, PhD’88, of Tempe, Arizona, on Oct. 9. A retired health-care policy consultant, she taught health policy and economics in the nursing programs at the University of Tennessee and the University of New Mexico, and was executive director of the Greater Phoenix Affordable Health Care Foundation. Survived by husband Harold Wilson.

Eileen S. (Goldstein) Samilow ’89, of Brooklyn, on Jan. 21, 2020. Known for her innate happiness, sense of humor, indomitable will and grace, she passed away after a valiant 20-year battle with a rare form of cancer, and was laid to rest in Israel. Survived by husband Steven and two children.
