Anna Umanskaya ’10, of Brooklyn, on Nov. 30. A deeply caring soul, she adored children and is remembered for making friends wherever she went. Survived by many Brandeis friends, who have created a fellowship in her name.

Katrina G. Flynn, GSAS MS’18, of Easton, Massachusetts, on Dec. 3. A genetic counselor at Rhode Island Hospital before becoming a stay-at-home mom, Katrina enjoyed knitting, playing the violin and gardening; cherished being a mother; and is remembered as an intelligent, thoughtful person with a gentle grace and beautiful smile. Survived by husband Sean, two children and her mother.
