In Memoriam: Faculty & Staff
Ernest Stock, Faculty, of Jerusalem, on Jan. 10. A German-born Jew, he came to the U.S. to escape Nazism; became a soldier in the U.S. Army; pursued careers in journalism and foreign policy; and, from 1966-78, served as director of Brandeis’ overseas studies program in Jerusalem. Survived by wife Bracha and a son.
