James Wilson Trent Jr., Heller PhD’82, of Clayton, Missouri, on April 14. A renowned scholar in the field of disability studies, he taught in the sociology and social work departments at Barrington College, the University of Southern Mississippi, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Gordon College. Survived by wife Sue, two children and two grandchildren.

Susan Dembo Weinstein ’86, of Dayton, Maryland, on April 28. A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, she became chief of the special victims unit in the Howard County (Maryland) State’s Attorney’s Office, where she was assistant state’s attorney for more than 20 years. Survived by husband David and two children.
