Noreen Rose Francis, P’07, P’08, Staff, of Auburndale, Massachusetts, on July 27, 2022. A research biochemist for 35 years at Brandeis’ Rosenstiel Basic Medical Sciences Research Center, she was also a devoted Girl Scout troop leader known for her light heart, sense of humor, and passion for arts and crafts. Survived by husband Michael, son Matthew ’07, and daughter Laura ’08.

Thomas C. Hollocher, G’12, Faculty, of Sudbury, Massachusetts, on Nov. 3. An emeritus professor of biochemistry at Brandeis, where he taught for 38 years, he inspired others to treasure the universe in which we live, and was passionate about traveling, mountain climbing, gardening, and paleontology. Survived by his wife of 69 years, Pamela; three children; and eight grandchildren, including April Farmer ’12.
