Carol Green ’52, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, on April 24, 2020. She had an infectious laugh and a delightful sense of humor; was passionate about knitting, despite having the use of only one hand following a stroke; and worked for many years as the private secretary to Boston Symphony conductor Arthur Fiedler, as well as an executive secretary at McLean Hospital and GTE Labs. Survived by two children and two grandchildren.

Judith Marks Kass ’52, of Brookline, Massachusetts, on April 3. A loving daughter and devoted mother, she kept in touch with classmates over the years and visited campus in 2010 for her 58th Reunion. Survived by two children.

Barbara Morse Ingber ’53, of Tampa, Florida, on April 27. A lifelong learner, particularly of Hebrew scripture and Jewish studies, whose professional roles included biologist, property manager, and business owner, she felt most at home sailing off the Massachusetts coast and in the Caribbean. Survived by three children and two grandsons.

Naomi (Glazier) Sogoloff ’53, P’77, Brandeis National Committee, of Pittsburgh, on July 12. A Hebrew school teacher, Life Master in bridge, tennis player, passionate reader, and lover of the ocean, she learned to surf at age 88. Survived by two children, including Erica Sack ’77, and a granddaughter.

Norma Stollman Arbit ’54, P’80, of Highland Park, New Jersey, on July 1. An active member of the Highland Park Conservative Temple and her temple sisterhood, and a life member of Hadassah, she found joy in music and learning. Survived by three children, including Deborah ’80; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Elaine Kaplan Bloom ’54, of Brewster, Massachusetts, on June 21. A member of Brandeis’ third graduating class, she earned a master’s at Salem State College; ran Sew Right Fabrics with her husband, Irving, for 25 years; and loved the beach, history, archaeology, lobster, Scrabble, and the Red Sox. Survived by three children and a grandson.

Jacqueline Grover (Levine) Cline ’54, Brandeis National Committee, of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, on April 28. After graduating from Brandeis, she earned a master’s degree in psychology from Boston College and worked as a real estate broker for many years. Survived by two children and two grandchildren.

Eileen C. Turgel ’54, of Scottsdale, Arizona, on May 26. A member of Brandeis’ third graduating class, she spent her career in finance and business administration, and frequently traveled the world for business and pleasure. Survived by her caregiving nephew.

Roberta B. Cohen ’55, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, on June 10. A psychologist for 40 years, including 12 years as executive director of a school for at-risk adolescents, she enjoyed playing tennis and her Steinway grand piano, exploring the Arctic, hosting Thanksgiving dinners, and living in New England. Survived by family and friends.

Helen Berger Weinstein ’56, Brandeis National Committee, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, on July 16. She was the first female chair of the Trumbull (Connecticut) Town Council and an active member of other Trumbull organizations. Survived by three sons and three grandchildren.

Sally Marshall Glickman ’59, G’17, G’22, Fellow, Brandeis National Committee, of Danvers, Massachusetts, on May 3. A teacher and special-education advocate, she loved travel, genealogy, and Eastern philosophy; supported her alma mater by serving as president of the Alumni Association and setting up a scholarship fund; and was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and wife (to late husband Stanley ’58, G’17, G’22). Survived by two children and six grandchildren, including Sarah Ariel Glickman ’17 and Tyler Marshall Rossi ’22.
