Master's Students

Drew received a BA in mathematics from Southern New Hampshire University and has been teaching mathematics privately for the past two years. After 17 years working in opticianry, Drew left his industry to pursue his passion in mathematics. Though he has not chosen a specialization, his potential research interests include algebraic topology, dynamical systems, and representation theory. He also advocates for diversity and inclusion in the field of mathematics. Drew is a classically trained pianist and enjoys video/board games, anime/manga, working out, and hanging out with his husband and two dogs

Gus received is BA in Mathematics from the University of Chicago, and spent a gap year teaching high school algebra. He is pursuing a MS in Mathematics at Brandeis with interests in number theory, arithmetic geometry, and algebraic topology. Gus enjoys rock climbing and generally being outside in his free time.


Christopher Toomey graduated from Colorado State University - Pueblo with a BS in Mathematics. His primary academic interests include algebra and combinatorics, though he is undecided on what to specialize in. During his time off he likes to read, yo-yo, listen to music, and play basketball.
