Sharon Pucker Rivo, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the National Center for Jewish Film (NCJF), is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Near Eastern and Judaic Studies Department at Brandeis University, where she teaches courses on Jewish Film and Film and the Holocaust. Professor Rivo began her career in television at WGBH-TV, Boston, where she became an award-winning film producer.

Professor Rivo has devoted herself to the collection, preservation and exhibition of films with artistic and educational value relevant to the Jewish experience and the dissemination of these materials to the widest possible audience. The NCJF provides programming consultation and research assistance to 7,000 filmmakers, artists, educators, curators and organizations. She travels worldwide to lecture and screen films at international film festivals and has been hosting the 2-week Boston-area Jewish Film Festival for 19 years.
