Descriptive Transcript

Decade – Brandeis explained in pictures in 10 years

This video uses photos of important events and campus life at Brandeis University taken from the years 2010 – 2019. The pictures have a 3D effect at many points. The photos also scale inward or outward in size and often change position using a gradual panning effect.

The video begins by fading in inspiring music.

The Brandeis logo is seen followed by on screen text that reads: "celebrates a decade in pictures."

An event called "burning boards." Students and faculty use candles as chess pieces outside of The Rose Art Museum at night with the Light of Reason sculpture illuminated in the background.

The montage of images begins. At the very start a short montage of the Commencement banners displaying each class year transition sequentially.

The montage of pictures continues with scenes of:

Students walking between the trees in the spring time on campus.

A shot of students looking upon the Louie Brandeis statue taken from below.

Students fencing.

Students working in the field taking measurements.

A wide shot at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony.
