COVID Archives

Dear PIs,

As COVID becomes accepted as a risk of daily life, the HRPP is updating its policies and procedures regarding in-person research to align with those of our updated university guidance. Beginning October 11, investigators will be asked to follow their home institution’s policies (or the local rules/laws) regarding masking, social distancing, and any other applicable restrictions regarding COVID mitigation. In addition, the COVID Consent Form Addendum will no longer be required.

Please note that a Modification Request will be required to begin in-person research (i.e., moving from Zoom interviews to in-person interviews), however a Modification Request is not necessary to make other modest changes to your current masking and/or distancing protocols.

We ask that you stay abreast of institutional and other local area COVID guidelines and adjust your research protocols accordingly as they change.

As always, please don’t hesitate to research out with any questions you may have.
