August 2020 Orientation

Fall move-in dates will be announced in July.

Orientation programs officially begin in August, but we are excited to let you know that you'll start hearing from us in June. Your Orientation Leader(s) will email you in June and will begin regular group meetings then too. In July, we'll be sending you videos about the following topics/departments: Health and Wellness; Prevention, Advocacy, and Resource Center (PARC); Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO); Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). We'll follow those up with virtual group discussions.

Additionally, there will be events for you to participate in over the summer. These will vary in style and scope but will be social, academic, and/or service-related. You will receive email notifications about these offerings and we hope you will join us!

August Pre-Orientation Programs

Learn more about our virtual pre-orientation programs for students starting at Brandeis in August.

August Orientation

Due to restrictions in place for the safety and well-being of our students and staff, August Orientation programming will be virtual this year. Daily programs will include both those specifically for new students and those that are campus-wide, allowing students to interact with their peers and returning students.

Transfer Student Orientation Information

Whether you are joining us in August or January, transfer students are strongly encouraged to participate in all Orientation events. Though you may have already participated in a new student orientation at a previous institution, our Orientation highlights all aspects of the Brandeis community - our resources, staff members, and fellow students - that are important for you to know.

You will be assigned an Orientation Leader and will be with a group of other transfer students, but you will also interact with other members of the Brandeis community. If you have any questions about transfer Orientation, please email
