January 2023 Orientation
- Move-In Day for January Students: More info coming soon
- Orientation Dates: Mid-January 2023
The Orientation Schedule for January 2023 will be available in Guidebook at the beginning of January!
Download the free mobile app from Guidebook for the most up-to-date information about DEIS Week (Orientation). You can also sort through the schedule by using different “tracks” — for first-year students, transfer students, or parents and families.
There are two ways to get the DEIS Week schedule on your phone:
Whether you are joining us in August or January, transfer students are strongly encouraged to participate in all Orientation events. Though you may have already participated in a new student orientation at a previous institution, our Orientation highlights all aspects of the Brandeis community — our resources, staff members, and fellow students — that are important for you to know.
You will be assigned an Orientation Leader and will be with a group of other transfer students, but you will also interact with other members of the Brandeis community. If you have any questions about transfer Orientation, please email email@example.com.
Only one car per student is allowed on campus when you arrive.
U-Hauls, trailers and moving companies are not permitted.
Free shuttles will be available for you use around campus. All shuttles are handicapped-accessible.
The Department of Orientation staff will provide assistance to anyone who needs it. If you or someone in your family requires special accommodations, email Scott Berozi, Associate Director of Orientation, to make arrangements prior to your arrival.
“Keeping an open mind and broadening my interests has helped me find a purpose and a home here at Brandeis.”
