Enrolling at Brandeis University as a high school student
Brandeis University permits talented high school students to enroll in 1 – 2 courses during the fall and/or spring semester of the academic year.

- Review list of classes offered in semester you are interested in. You can find the current semester list here
- Send an email to precollege@brandeis.edu with the name(s) of the courses you are interested in, your full name, your address, your date of birth, your home number, cell number and email address, your guardian’s name and email address.
- Include information about why you are qualified to take the course (AP courses, transcript, etc.)
- We will contact the professor and ask permission for you. We’ll include the information you give us on qualifications.
- Once the professor gives permission, we will submit your information to the Registrar.
The Registrar will let us know when you are enrolled, and give you a SAGE ID. You will use your Sage ID to create a Brandeis email account. When you are enrolled you will receive a bill.
It does not differ. High school students are expected to adhere to all class requirements for attendance, homework, final exams and/or projects and obey all University policies and codes of conduct.
