    Are you ready to step up as a leader in your school, youth group or home community? Do you want to make positive social change in the face of structural inequality? Are you prepared to change the world?

    Let’s go!

    At Service Leadership, you’ll have the opportunity to combine your love for service with hands-on volunteer projects and deep intellectual exploration into the issues facing communities in the Greater Boston area and beyond. You will work directly with talented staff, Brandeis undergraduates and non-profit leaders in order to develop your own service projects, which you will present at a capstone presentation session at the program culmination.

    Service Leadership at Brandeis is distinctively able to provide this special experience. The Princeton Review even named Brandeis the #5 school in the country for community service engagement! During this program you will:

    Sample Schedule
    • Breakfast: 7:30 - 8:45 a.m.
    • Daily Service Sites: 9 a.m. - noon
    • Lunch: 12:15 - 1:30 p.m.
    • Morning Site Debrief with Group Educators: 1:30 - 2:00 p.m.
    • Project Session: 2 - 3:30 p.m.
    • Group Learning and Guest Lecture: Evaluation: 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. 
    • Dinner: 5 - 7:00 p.m. 
    • Social Event: 7 - 9:30 p.m.
    • In Residence Hall: 9:30 p.m.
    Program Costs

    The fee for this program is: $3,550

    In the Brandeis tradition of offering academic access to all students, Service Leadership seeks each year to provide a limited number of scholarships to outstanding applicants who otherwise might not be able to afford this exceptional opportunity.
