Community Check-In: Thank You for Participating, the Video is Now Available

April 2, 2020

Dear Faculty and Staff,

Thank you for being a part of today’s Community Check-In. We had more than 730 people join us virtually. For those who were unable to attend, you can see a recording of the Community Check-In below.

I appreciated the questions you submitted as they prompted a valuable discussion on issues such as compensation, furloughs and layoffs, our financial stability, and the process of notification around COVID-19 cases.

Today’s Community Check-In will not be our last. We will notify you of these upcoming events.

I would like to reiterate an important point made during today’s session. These are stressful times for everyone. Please be aware that there are resources available through Brandeis to support you that you can find here.

On behalf of Lisa Lynch and Stew Uretsky, we would like to thank you for all that you have done to keep our community – and the larger community – safe and secure by quickly and efficiently transitioning students off campus while also switching to teaching, learning, and working in virtual settings.

I hope that you are able to enjoy some special time with your families – whether in person, or virtually – during the upcoming holidays, and that you and your families remain safe and healthy.

Best regards,
