The video opens with a Brandeis student named Niko Adeniyi '29 who is a member of the Southeast Asia Club (SEAC).
Niko speaks directly to the camera as she stands in the Shapiro Campus Center as she recall her favorite memory celebrating Lunar New Year.
Music is heard playing throughout the video.
A lower third graphic with her name appears that reads "Niko Adeniyi '29, Member of Southeast Asia Club (SEAC)"
Niko says:
"One of my favorite memories growing up while celebrating Lunar New Year is getting, ang pow."
An animated red envelope graphic pops up on screen as we hear Niko say: "Ang pow is a red envelope with money inside, which you're not supposed to count until afterwards."
The video then cuts to Isabella Chan '26, a student member of Club Cantonese, standing in Farber Library.
A lower third appears on screen that reads "Isabella Chan '26, Member of Club Cantonese at Brandeis (C2B)"
Isabella says, "One of my favorite memories of celebrating Chinese New Year is being able to gather around the family table and eat a huge feast, as well as being dressed in our lucky, beautiful color, red."
As she's speaking, a photograph of Isabella when she is a small child appears on the screen with a red background.
The video then transitions to Jason Wu '28, a student member of the Taiwanese Students Association.
A lower third graphic appears on screen that reads, "Jason Wu '28, Member of Taiwanese Students Association (TSA)"
Jason, who is standing in Farber Library, says "My fondest memory is when I had to, perform on stage and I had to dance to xiao ping guo, which is a Chinese song, and I practiced like every night for a month with my mom, and it was really fun."
As Jason is speaking, a photo of when he is a young child seated with his mother is animated onto screen.
The video then cuts to Daphne Lin '29, a member of the Brandeis Asian American Association club, as she stands in the Shapiro Campus Center.
A lower third appears on screen that reads, "Daphne Lin '29, Member of Brandeis Asian American Students Association (BAASA)"
Daphne says "my favorite memory growing up, it was learning to do the dragon dance with my friends."
The video cuts to Niko addressing the camera and saying "Happy Lunar New Year!"
The video cuts to Daphne addressing the camera and saying "Happy New Year!"
The video then cuts to Jason who addresses the camera and says: "Xīnnián Kuàilè (新年快樂)!"
The video then fades to white and a Brandeis blue logo appears. The music fades out.
