Destiny on Being Pre-Med

Descriptive Transcript

We see shots of a photographer taking pictures of a student with a white robe. We hear her say:

“My name is Destiny Kluck. I'm the class of 2025, a sophomore, also a rising junior.” We see shots of her posing for the camera, and then of her, talking during the interview. She continues: “I do a lot here. I work here in the Paradis lab. I work at the Department of Student Engagement and the Department of Compact. My major is biology in HSSP. HSSP standing for health, science, society and policy.”

We see shots of her grabbing equipment and working with test tubes in a lab. She continues: “I really enjoy my classes. They're academically rigorous, but not enough to hold me back from my extracurriculars.”

There are more shots of her working on the lab, she says: “I think they really complement with the campus surroundings and also my internships off campus. I chose Brandeis because of the fact that it has roots in social justice and activism. As an adoptee, I find it really important to share my story, but also help the community I'm coming from.”

We see some more shots of her working on the lab and shots of her posing for the camera as she ends: “So with Brandeis, I think my majors can also help me grow towards that goal.”

Video of her transitions into the brandeis logo. The logo fades to black and music fades down.
